WORLD HEART DAY – 2023
On the occasion of World Heart Day, St. Andrews College of Physiotherapy, Department of Cardiovascular and Respiratory Physiotherapy organized Reel making competition and Debate competition on 30th September 2023 to spread awareness amongst students as well as society via our students. An event was organized on the topic ‘AWARENESS OF HEART HEALTH’. For the debate competition elimination round was held on the topic ‘SHOULD SOCIAL MEDIA BE AN IDEAL SOURCE OF INFORMATION FOR HEART HEALTH’ for which 4 teams participated. Amongst them 2 leading teams had debate between both for the final round, on the topic ‘IS TECHNOLOGY A BOON OR CURSE FOR HEART HEALTH’, and depending on the scores, the winning team was announced. Reels prepared and submitted by the students were then displayed to everyone. Amongst the reels best reel was selected and was declared as winner.
