REPORT – “WORLD CEREBRAL PALSY DAY” OCTOBER 06, 2023
Kamla Nehru Hospital, Pune in collaboration with St Andrew’s college of Physiotherapy organized an awareness talk on the Occasion of World Cerebral Palsy Day on 06th October 2023.The theme for world cerebral palsy day 2023 was “Together stronger”. The Event took place in Reception hall of Kamla Nehru Hospital. There were patients, Care takers, and general public and physiotherapy students, participating as audience for the awareness talk. Topics such as the importance of screening and rehabilitation of children with Cerebral palsy, counseling and early intervention to slow down or to stop the progression of cerebral palsy. The awareness talk delivered by the Speakers was highly informative. General public, Patients, Care Takers and Physiotherapy students who participated in the event appreciated the program. Dr Sneha Jadhav concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
