ALUMNI ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMME - ONLINE SESSION TITLED ‘REFLECTING ON STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS’- DECEMBER, 2023
In the light of the upcoming university examination of the students of Second, Third and Final year BPTh the Alumni Committee decided to organize a session with one of the Alumni as a speaker to guide the students on strategies to succeed in the examination. An alumni from the batch of 2018-19 was approached and she graciously offered to conduct the session. Since she has secured the first rank at university level in neurophysiotherapy, the committee was positive that the experience she shares would be beneficial for the students from the point of the view of the exam they are currently preparing for. The Online session was attended by a total of 49 students from the 3 batches. She gave a presentation which included her experience and suggestions on the following topics -
- Time management during the examination
- The art of paper presentation
- Attempting maximum questions
- How to attempt a question on ICF
- Effective goal setting
She gave practical points that the students could connect with, and she added her personal experience to her presentation which greatly enhanced the way that students could grasp the content she was conveying. At the end of the session, a few minutes were given to address any questions that the students may have. A letter of appreciation was also drafted after the session and shared with the speaker.
